About the International Data Researcher (IDR) role
We are seeking an independent, resourceful self-starter for a full-time IDR position, 70% of which will be spent travelling.
Working out of our London office the IDR will travel to diverse locations worldwide, visiting supermarkets to obtain the prices of groceries and other every day essential items, and providing on-the-ground research for ECA’s housing data. The role frequently requires visits to places that are remote and basic.
The IDR will be required to submit their findings in a regular and
methodical way and spend time between trips in our head office collating data,
planning their next trip, obtaining visas etc.

About the candidate
The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre and be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
- Experience of process management. This could be something done in a previous job or studies or a project managed in free time.
- Ability to think on their feet
- Confidence in alien environments
- A high level of numeracy
- Experience of world travel
- Cultural sensitivity
- Excellent attention to detail
Training and remuneration
An introduction to the company, the objectives of the research and training will be given.
