| Changes in
living costs |
|||||||||||||||||||
|
Part of ECA's cost
of living report, changes in living costs (CLCs) are ECAs measure of
expatriate inflation, reflecting the price changes in the types of
goods and services that expatriates buy.
The figure may differ from local inflation, particularly when cultural/shopping conditions vary significantly from the home country and where expatriates buy a lot of imported goods. Relative CLCs and exchange rate movements are what cause changes in ECAs cost of living indices. |
