Hardship or just a change of
scene?
ECAAdapt offers
a transparent and detailed system for calculating location or hardship
allowances.
Accommodating your policy ECAAdapt
allows you to select region-to-city allowances or city-to-city allowances,
so that depending on your policy the system reflects the level of detail
that you need.
Quick and easy ECAs system provides
an immediate banding for the host location, based in part on the
circumstances of the home location. With the banding comes ECAs
recommended allowances, expressed as a percentage of home gross
salary.
Transparent and consistent ECAAdapt also gives breakdowns
of the scoring given to a number of different categories contributing to
the overall score which translates to banding and allowances.
Categories include:
- Climate
- Health services
- Language and culture
- Goods and services
- Isolation
- Social network and leisure
- Housing, utilities and education
- Personal security
- Socio-political tensions
Reflective of actual change ECAAdapt
scores are not absolute, but reflect the degree to which an expatriate
will need to adjust to a new location hence they vary not only according
to which country will play host, but also the location the assignee
considers home.
Extensive location
coverage
ECAAdapt provides information on 278 locations.
User-friendly print-outs
and reports
ECAAdapt comes complete with formatted reports for printing and saving as
pdfs. It also allows you to export data to spreadsheets and word
processing programs should you want to make adjustments, or present the
information differently.
